They had made the trip years earlier when they were much younger.

    I just realized something recently about Texas Rivers and the naming of streets in Victoria. There is an area in the older part of Victoria where the street names are the major Texas rivers. While I knew this, I didn't realize that they were in the order of the rivers in Texas traveling north to south. In the map below, I didn't get the very top street (Red River) or the very bottom river. (Rio Grand).

    I have been in Victoria for over 20 years and just realize this a few months ago.
