    Cross fitters - I'm joining the ranks!

    Two weeks ago, I told Tina that we would join Cross Fit. I was sure that after she thought it through, that she would either dismiss it or forget about it. Well, she didn't!

    Tonight will be my first Cross Fit class. If ya'll don't see me on here tomorrow, that's why!

    My mind is excited, but my body is scared. Any tips to survive the first few weeks?

    Lots of fluids and bananas.

      bacon and avocado sandwiches. Fish oils.
      And a good stretch and roll before and after your WOD's congrats man. Stay with it!

        LOTS of water throughout the day!

        My wife and I both love Crossfit - Todays WOD is a KILLER, so I may join you in the death by crossfit about 6:00PM this evening!

        Stick with it! You will NOT be disappointed - know going into it that it is going to HURT

            When I actually go, i enjoy it. its a good hard workout and I was noticing some good results... but i've fallen off the wagon and haven't been in months.

                      Here's what the site has for us.

                      WOD: A Million To Juan
                      6 Rounds:
                      15 KB Swings (55#/35#)
                      15 Pull-Ups
                      15 Weighted Sit-Ups (45#/25#)
                      200m Run

                      I have no idea what this stuff is, but I'm sure it's not fat boy friendly!

                          you can always scale down to what you can handle 55 Rx for males is decent weigth on KB's, depending if they are american or russian KB swings and for the number of rounds you might wanna start at a lighter weight. Ur coach will help you.

                              "Grace" (95/65) - (30 Clean and Jerks)

                              25 Bar-Facing Burpees (Burpees with a jump over your Clean and Jerk bar)
