I got my hide back from the Doe I shot last season. This Doe was my first deer ever as well as first Bow kill ever, so it means alot to me!
The Taxidermist called with bad news and said that during the tanning process something went wrong and the hide (Up towards the front shoulders and neck) had messed up and fallen apart like swiss cheese. Luckily the rear portion was fine and there was enough of the entire hide to at least get back.....
With that, I came up with this idea to showcase it off with the arrow that I used to take her down (No broadhead on it cause it shattered against rocks behind her). I think it made a really nice packout/bedroll
