Before they have you changing a tire in 100+ degree heat. Seems they last 3 years before you need to replace. Can't make the 4th year no matter how little it was used.

Yep , those OEM tires are terrible, 3 years is rolling the dice IMO, the stretch of I-10 between kerrville and Sonora is littered with trailers every time I drive out , usually with multiple tires blown, summer time 100+ * only makes it worse.
every trailer should have a floor jack , Two spares, and a piece of carpet or something to lay on

E-Rated LT tires are all I use on trailers as most "trailer" tires are imported 1950s tech with 65 mph max speeds. Goodyear Marathons got me once. Once.
Not an issue with light truck tires in many tens of thousands of miles since. Of course, match your tires to the trailer and load. I have heard good reports on the GY Endurance, but as long as my loads remain within LT ratings, I'm keeping them. Usually, my trailers are wearing Michelins. YMMV.

Dumb question, how do you know if your tires are factory on your TT?
You should also look at the manufacture date on the tires.
I use Hercules tires on ours. I have been happy with them. I also use a TST tire monitoring system when towing. I park on 2 x 10 when extended storing with tire covers on. If you are parked for an extended period, it is recommended to not park directly on concrete.Last edited by Bill M; 06-18-2023, 03:58 AM.

Thanks Bill I appreciate that. I will be heading to check on those tires today.
