Thanks! We caught a bunch of dinks before the front! They got lock jaw once the norther started blowing and the water turned to chocolate milk.

                      Cool pic!

About 8-9 years ago we were in Pringle when a May front blew in. It was bad. 50-60mph winds, lightning, heavy rain....7 foot waves...Temp dropped 20 degrees instantly.

We took shelter in a small shallow cove outside of Pringle only to have the water drain on us within 20-30 minutes. We had 2 boats...one got stuck had to dig it out to get up on plane. Ended up limping back to camp after...took us 3-4 hours to get back in that weather. Best hot shower I EVER had.

I love it right before when everything is perfectly still.

Im pretty sure that is the same Norther that hit the weekend of Blackjacks Bachelor party. We luckily made it in just in time. Others did not. Michael and Pops had to get a truck to drag their boat back to the water.

I'm sure it was.....caught us by surprise. We were fishing in a 24' bright yellow El Pescador and the other boat was a 22' Gulf Coast. Both boats were struggling with those big waves.

The other boat actually had to stop and take shelter at an old fish camp on the water for several hours. The Coast Guard was very busy that day. We also heard that someone's boat capsized and drowned that day but never verified it.
