    New lease questions

Hey guys I got on a new lease about 10 minutes from my house. It was very cheap and close so I went ahead and jumped on it. Some of the rules are you have to reserve your spot when you want to go on an ecalendar. If the dates are unavaliable, you cannot enter the property. I get on the calendar and the dates are almost always booked. When I finally get in, I see that there are feeders everywhere and lots of them are very close to eachother. There were some younger guys walkin around also. Have any of yall had to reserve a spot on an ecalendar for your lease??

Never heard of such a thing. Sounds like a day lease to me

A buddy of mine did the same thing, and he was only able to hunt the property twice all year. He had a bad experience both times.

Good luck, and hope it works out!

Now there are time share deer leases? You might want to get your $$$$ back!

I've never heard of anything like that. Sounds to me like they've taken in way too many hunters. Pretty scary...

I agree. I'd hate to have to fight others every weekend for a spot to hunt. You'd they would do that hunting on a draft style system where everyone would get an equal spot. I think I'd be hunting during the week to avoid the weekend warriors!

The one my friend was on they did take WAY to many hunters in, and most were very inexperienced.

Yea it was 300 per year. I mostly got it cause its very close thinking I could hunt during the week and not have any type of issues. Wrong! Oh well, probably wont even put a feeder or blind up. Just take the loss. Anyone looking for a spot?

So you paid without going to the place first?

With that type of setup, I wonder if there is any game on the place..

I would be really concerned about their deer management abilities. Big red flag!
