I got my scent smoker in earlier this week and today I am smoking up all my hunting clothes. The idea of smoke as a cover scent interests me. Smoke is very natural. Earlier this week some neighbors from down the road were burning brush piles and the whole valley smelled of smoke. The deer seemed to act normal. Hopefully I will get to hunt tomorrow evening and test the smoke theory out.

Orlybow,
Yeah I ordered a scent smoker from www.scentsmoker.com Pretty much just a bee hive smoker, but I figured I would rather give my money to a hunter than a bee keeper

Thats what i thought...couldn't you just burn something, like leaves, or build a campfire to make your own smoke. Maybe just hang your hunting clothes downwind from your neighbors burning brush piles. Your right though, smoke is very natural. That's why, to me, it kinda seems unnecessary to by a device to make it for you. I am curious to see how it works out for you though. Please let us know.
