    Good Deer Processing in Houston?

Your recommendations on a good deer processor in Houston.

I have a good one in Tomball and in Katy, but I was looking to try someone a little closer. I live in the Galleria area (inner loop).

    Recommendations appreciated.

    Regards - Eric

Creative Wildlife & Processing is pretty good.

Tommy is a great guy and has a quick turnaround. He is located in Conroe right behind what will be the Old Double B Archery

Last Step in Humble and County Line in Porter both do a good job.

            Ag,

I use Readfields in Bryan. Yes, it is out of the way, but just another excuse to go back to Aggieland. Great work - a little pricey.

              Houston

B&W Meat market on North Shephard, very good smoked spicy or mild sausauge

C&C off 45 north has made some of the best cuts, and sausage i have ever had

Pete's Fine Meat on Richmond near chimney rock is the best I've found

I didn't know Pete's Fine Meats did deer processing...that's really close.

                How are they on prices?

                  Chew,

How is Last Step?? I've been using Jackson's in Crosby when I actually do take something in. I usually do it myself, but haven't perfected the jalapeno and cheese summer sausage yet.

I second B & W on N Shephard. You will wait a while for your sausage, but it's worth it!!

I like Dozier's out in Fulshear, a little far from inside the loop, but they do a great job.

It's been many years since I've used them, but Midway in Katy did a great job for what its worth.
