    Hard Trigger

Hey yall i have a 6mm that i shot a few weekends ago that has a stiff trigger on it.. feels like i have to do a bicep curl to make it go off.. anybody have suggestions and maybe a price range on how much that would be to fix. Thanks

Trigger jobs are usually $40-$50 range. Depends on the smith.

Depends on the make and model of the rifle...some have adjustable triggers that you can set yourself...others have non adjustable triggers that only a gunsmith can work on ,,,,others you can change the trigger to a timney or jewel or other adjustable brand.

Yeah, not much info given on the type of rifle, so hard to say.

If it is a Remington, I would suggest a trigger job for around $50, or replace with a Timney($125) or a Jewel($200) trigger. If it is a Browning you can buy new springs for it, or get it worked on by a smith. You can also get raplacement Timney for Howa and Weatherby for $125.

Do not mess with a stock Remington trigger. Replace it with a Timney.
Even a gun smith messing with a rem trigger is not good. Accidental discharges are not cool.
