Not sure, but i think when they put a new price on an item that ends in .88 it allows the register to ring up more discount when they do a special sale like "30% off archery equipment ending in .88".

I may be dreaming, but it seems like someone in there told me that one time.

Yup Jeff, it's the 'ol .88 Academy deals. If it's been marked down and ends in .88, it is most likely 30%-50% off. Need to scan it 1st, but the sticker is funny

$0.88 ending means it will not be stocked any more. I lucked out and got a turkey decoy, and two 3-D targets stands for $0.01 each. Timing is the key.l
