That's where most of his properties are, just wondering if anyone has leased from him or worked with him.

Why not post any possible negative feedback?

If someone was thinking about leasing from the guy and all they saw was the positive on this thread and not any negative you might get by PM it could be misleading. I know I would hate to read some positive comments and then find out later that there were more negative than positive.

I do not know Justin, just saying in general the bad should be shared with the good when applicable

My buddies place borders some of their land. I've met them a couple times. They seem like a good family but I have no experience with them personally.

The Weishuhn's are wonderful people. I can't say enough good things about them. I'm sure if he is a Weisuhn he is on the up and up.

I don't know him but while I was at ASU I was fortunate enough to meet several and they are all top notch!

If you don't have input into the thread then I would appreciate you not repling to the thread.
The reason I don't want negative feedback is alot of times a thread turns into a bashing thread and I don't want that on a thread I started. I like the guy personally as I have been talking to him on the phone for three years. We have discussed many things I just never have found a lease that I could get a group on. I am contemplating some of his property this year and wanted to know if anyone has had a business relationship with him in past years.

If you want a thread that gives both then start one yourself.
Not trying to be an arse but I really hate when a thread turns into a public bashing.

He is a good guy and does alot in the area as far as charity work, that's why I don't want a public bashing thread.
What I am really looking for is how his properties are run. Does he have the quality of deer he says he does and is it a good leasing experience when dealing with him. Everything sounds great and runs right in line with what I am looking for but I would like to talk to someone who has actually been there and done that.
Also if anyone hunts there off 83 near paintrock, what can truly be expected. I love the area and my dad lives at Ivie so I have seen some great deer. Just want some personal feedback if anyone has any.

I know this doesn't answer the question but the last time I drove on 83 from paint rock to ballinger it seemed like there was a dead deer every 200 yards..

I don't know. But I wish y'all east Texas guys would quit calling central Texas west Texas lol. Paint rock, Eden, they are central.
I have a friend with some land near paintrock and it seems a lot of that land Is overhunted bad. So be careful.

First I'm offended to be called an east tx boy! I'm from sweetwater and as far as I'm concerned anything west of abilene is west tx and so does most everyone else.

I hunt near Eola, which is just down the road off 765. Even though all the ponds stayed full, and 7 water wells keeping the water troughs full...it was a tough year to say the least.(unless you were dove hunting..Incredible!) In 2001,we were in a similar situation with the drought. There's always a few great bucks taken near us,every year. Hunting pressure has increased a little in the last 10 years, but we needed some.(too many doe's). Hope this helped.
