    Brisket resting question.

Trying my hand at smoking a small brisket and some ribs today and after reading through the Final Table thread I plan on resting the meat but do not have a cooler handy. So what I think I will do is wrap it in foil and just set it inside the microwave. Any other suggestions?

I sometimes wrap mine and put them in a cold oven. However I do layer a few towels around the brisket though.

Once you do that it doesn't matter where you put them. i smoke mine all the way to the end without foil and just wrap in towels. The ice chest is nice if you aren't serving right away but a 30 minute rest is plenty if you are ready to serve.
