need hunters education-any instructors-DFW

Hey yall,

I have a 16 year old nephew that needs to get his card.

He has a mild form of Autism that makes it so that he is unable to read.

He is a junior in high school and recently got his drivers license because they gave him an oral test.

looking for a class to attend that the instructor might take 20-30 minutes to read the test to him. He has the ability to learn the material he just cant read the written word.

i posted a thread last night about a class in Allen. go to the TPWD website and go to the hunter education area. there is a tab which shows you all upcoming classes by date, city and gives a phone #. i would recommend you could start calling some of those #'s and the instructors should be able to give you some more helpful advice / information.

Cabelas does a class from time to time. You could call and see who the instructor is and if they will do anything special.
