AT&T cell phone Data Speeds WOW!

As I have mentioned before, I got a Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, which is a 4G LTE phone on the AT&T network. Someone had a thread on here a few weeks ago complaining about the speed he was getting on his AT&T phone, along with some screen captures of his results on speedtest.net. We went to Dallas today and I ran the test while I was in Rockwall. I only had 2 bars of signal strength at the time, but check out these results! As you can see by the rest of the results, it blows the 3G we have out here in the sticks away! The very bottom result is using my WIFI connection in my house. It almost makes me want to live in the DFW metromess just for the speed. I said almost.

I'm lucky to get 6 Mbps on 3G service.

Give it a couple years and you will be real impressed.
We have equipment in the Chicago market right now that we are getting ready for live deployment and getting 20M plus on DL during testing. Supposed to get 100M when the right phones come out but am guessing 20-50 will be realistic at a decent cost in the future.

I just wish they would put up a few more towers in our area and bump us up to 3G instead of EDGE!

The fastest I have had my 4 G AT&T phone go so far is 2.82 mbps and .32 mbps and that was at L3 with the booster they have there.

Well, here's my Cbeyond (AT&T) T1 at work.

Can anyone suggest a solution for small business in Mesquite?

At best, we get 1.55 Mb/s. I can add a second T1 and boost it to 3.0 Mb/s. There's got to be something better for business than this. Doesn't there?

David, my cable internet at home is more than 10 Mbps download. Have you checked with your local cable company?

What speed to they claim you will get with your current service?

They claim 1.55 Mb/s. Trouble is, a lot of services that are available to home neighborhoods are not available to our business address in Mesquite. Or at least not as far as I'm aware of.
