As far as the house goes, Thompson has done a lot to fix it up. I took a few pictures so everyone could see and it was a lot cleaner. Nothing has been done upstairs yet but it's in the plans. Also a lot of the floor has been replaced in the trailer.

That is a lot nicer than when I was there. The shower had no floor and you had to stand on a brick or you go mud on your feet. We had mice and hundreds of spiders and several scorpions in the room with us. If TT fixes it up just a little it would be ok. My biggest bother was the gut pile only 30 yards from the trailer. If you have been there you know what I'm taking about. It looks like a massive grave with hundreds of dead and rotting animals. Price is great and if TT would invest a little to fix the place up he would gt even more business. Congrats on your success.

Me and the guys I go with have been going to Thompson's in March for 7yrs. We have the same weekend every year. The trailer is rough and usually just use it for sleeping we set up a big cook camp at it outside. Like everyone has said: You can make the hunt as easy or as tough as you want to; We go just to get away and have a good time and work: My group is the one that added the covered shooting bench above the trailer, last year we built the deck. Years before we cleared out trees along the road and the feed area below the bluff. This year only 4 of us have the ranch for the entire week and weekend in March that we go. You will see new additions by April 1st weekend. We will cover the deck at the overlook and build a new area up behind Thompson's House that will handle a group if the weather is bad and he can't get uptop. Last year I got to take one of his Hill Country Bighorns, wanted to do it with bow but I twisted my knee out working on the deck and took him with my muzzleloader;

Walk the mountain. Go to the back. Pack out your kill. Then come back and tell me its a canned hunt.
