Settled in. Nice breeze blowing. Not much sign around, but all the feeders have been cleaned up since this morning. Hand corn spread 200 yds south and 100 yds north. Some to the east and west too. Just looking for a little action. I've had virtually none since November. Stay tuned.

Coyote walked across at 200 yds. Tried to call him in but no luck. At least I saw something furry on this side of the fence.

Well, that's that. It's been an interesting first season on this place. We started off very promising with all the activity on the trail cams, but one bow season hit, most of the deer vanished. I ended up with one doe in the freezer, so I do have some meat.

We'll reevaluate our setups and try again next season.

Because I'm a lefty, eh? Do the deer realize us lefties are better shots? Our reputations must precede us.

The gun is a Savage 10 FLCP-K. I've very much enjoyed it.
