I know what you mean man. They've been swarming my feeders in Burnet. When I'm hunting, they'll come in, then all of a sudden, the whole flock with blow out of there....spooks me, then I start to think...."something must have spooked them and it's coming to the feeder" No such luck, they're just goofy birds all around. I've since learned to watch the redbirds and bunny rabbits....whey THEY spook and run off, THEN something MIGHT be coming in.
