The news on radio got my attention for a split second &, forgot about the speedometer on the school zone. 34 mph on 25 mph SZ speed limit.
There are no excuses on the SZ, officers out there are doing their job. My mistake for not paying attention, took almost 15 yrs not having a ticket.
Practice maybe? what a shame on me....

Dang man how much she take ya for? My gf got pulled over a few years ago in a SZ but I guess she is pretty, no ticket.

Not sure how much, regardless I will have to pay some fine. Heck why can't I be pretty? I coulda flirt my way out of the ticket.

I bet it is less than talking on your cell phone in a school zone!! That sucks, but we all get distracted every once in a while.

It'll happen... There are consecutive school zones on Hwy 94 on a relitively new school. If you never drive through there during a school time and you're running late getting to the stand it's easy to get in a bind.

I called the city these morning to find out, how much the fine was.
A Big $201.00 full price, (no clearance sale or liquidation sale price here) no ticket for 30 days & will not go on my record. Or, pay $165.00 + go to defensive driving. Lucky me on the no go on Record, still one expensive news I was listening to.

You got off cheap Dennis. Back in 1980 I got one for 39 in a 20 SZ in Plano. $500 + $10 for every mph over. $690 total.

I was afraid it'd be more, (I still worn't eat for 2 weeks tho) I was so lost when officer just scanned the tag on the wind shield, & printed the the ticket. I remember when they use to write it down & took forever, I was let go less than 4 min. Technology, where was I now day? How you been Randy? Happy new yr to you & your family.
