Correct me if I'm wrong, but when the Stoops brothers were together at OU didn't it seem that through the first half of all those games UT would but moving their offense at will, but after half Stoops seemed to figure out what to do and always stymied the UT offense in the 2nd half?
1999-Texas wins.
2000-Oklahoma wins 63-14. Texas doesn't move ball in either half.
2001-Oklahoma wins 14-3. Texas doesn't move ball in either half.
2002-Oklahoma wins 35-24. Texas moves ball.
2003-Oklahoma wins 65-13. Texas doesn't move the ball in either half.
Rumors out that he has been offered the DC position at West Virginia.
Not good
I don't see him leaving to take a DC position at a school that is less prestigious than OU. If he leaves I think it will be for a HC position. Just my opinion though.
As I said before, I'd love to have him in Lubbock. The last coach we got from OU did okay here.
