i'm stealing the 1/8 since there is actually a point i didn't score.
Little background I didn't record the early morning encounter until he was 30+ yards out. I had the deer under 10 yards for 20 minutes but he never presented me with a solid shot and he went into the thicket. He popped back out behind the feeder when i realized i had hit pause and not record. I'm very confident with my shot out to 40 but it was early in my hunt and I thought patience would provide me with a more sure shot.
In the afternoon I had to get out and wash a pile of buck candy corn with a bottle of water and mix it with regular corn. Not that they didn't like it but the deer seemed to react poorly to the laced corn. I had him in front of me again for about 15 minutes but he kept quartering too, facing to or away. took a long and frustrating amount of time before i got him broadside.
it's 7.5 minutes long but thats after killing 30 minutes. I'm trying to get shorter!
