i have the same problem so i shoot different stuff, antenna balls, bottle caps. It keeps things interesting

I know what you mean. I get bored shooting my compound. I can shoot out to 50yds if I open the gate beside the house and shoot from the street. But it's still like shooting a rifle. Thump, thump, thump. Dot, dot, dot. BORING!
I want to get a fairly low draw weight longbow so I can watch the arrow in flight. I think it will be really relaxing. Plus, I'll have no idea what I'll hit!
