    Tracker VS Xpress

Was looking at these two boats (17' bass boat) and thought I'd see what you all thought about them. They look pretty similar but can't tell ride, durability, etc from specs....

Xpress boats hands down. Tracker boats IMO are not built very well but because they are affordable they sell a bunch.

Out of these 2 I would lean toward Xpress if budget allows. Although I never owned an Xpress, I heavily looked at them but decided on a Triton aluminum series. I have owned a Tracker and had no issues with it but you can tell there not made as well as the others. IMO ride will be better with Xpress as well.

Good luck with purchase and fishing!!!

As I am only a weekend warrior for bass, I chose a Tracker TV18 with a 90 HP Merc. I bought it new in 2005 and it has been a solid boat and other than a carpet issue due to it being outside in the snow before I bought it, no issues at all. It rides well and has plenty of speed.

I have owned several new boats and I would buy it again. Not sure of your location but I would be willing to take ya out for a ride and try for some big mouths.

Whatever you decide make sure it's the "one" since once you commit to trade or sale will be at a significant loss.

Best of luck and post up some pics once you decide.

Xpress hands down, I kick myself everytime I think of the 17' I sold.

Solid boat, good ride and easy on the gas bill

Great Info! Thanks! I fish mainly on Toledo Bend for bass on the river occasionally too. I wanted the aluminum to hold up with all the stick-ups out in the lake....Might take it out in the marsh on occasion too.

Toledo Bend is a big lake with Big waves. Xpress will take the day in day out pounding more than a tracker.

In the 17' boats,I'm not sure there's a whole lot of difference. Price would dictate in my book. Express are certainly the best al. Bass boat on the market 19',and up. Good luck.

I have been in and fished out of both the tracker and xpress and there is lots of difference.

Have an Xpress its an 03 model H51 and still going strong...has been a solid boat and has fished alot of big water. Xpress has always seemed to have the upper hand on hull design for preformance and handling.
