    Is 180 Lumens's super bright?

How far out will that reach as well?

    Thanks

I think that would be hard to answer as each flahslight could have a different shaped light reflector?

My head lamp for running my dogs is a browning & its 135 linens, & it is brighter than any spotlight I have & will really light up a large area & great distance, 185 should be freakin bright!

Yes, it is very bright.. However, most manufactures define lumens in their own way.. There is no standard that all flash light manufactures, for example, follow.. So one company's 180 lumens could be anothers 120.. There is also the percieved brightnessw based on the lens and focus of the beam..

So, it all depends.. But typically 180 very bright...

thats pretty bright - if you want the brightest flashlight I have ever seen (like a pocket spotlight) go with the Fenix TA20 (225 Lumens and it is a beam). It will throw a visibly clear beam about 175 yards - it is CRAZY bright

185 is low on the scale. That could be what the light is rated for and it does not actually put that light out at distance. That light will diffuse really quickly.
I have a 700 lumens torch that I use for Spot lighting. It is rated at 700 lumens at 100 meters. It will blind you if you are not careful.
I have smaller hand lights that are rated at 400 lumens and are bright out to 50 meters.
Go to Batteryjunction.com and they have all of the comparisons on their website.

I have a 40 lumen streamlight that I strap to my stabilizer when I hog hunt. It shoots a clear beam (even when filtered red) out to 30 yards.

There is no conversion to candle power, but I am gonna say it is pretty bright. Does it have a LUX rating? Apparently that is a measure of how well it will illuminate objects.

I could not find a LUX rating.

I just got a new Jet Beam for Christmas. It's 830 lumens and is hands down the brightest light of any kind I have ever seen. Not only is it bright but for $70 you can buy a few for the price of surefire or such name brands.

You remember that 870 I got from you?
