South Texas we use vehicle mounted corn feeder and corn sendero's. They are used to the vehicles and usually come out before you can get in the stand.

A. I figure if they are close, I'm going to disturb them when I get in the stand, whether I hand corn or not. Therefore I do, and I don't sweat it.

I have on more than one occasion put my handcorn down at 20 yards and got up in my stand and before I can even put my release on had deer munching on corn. I continued to zip/ unzip, velcro, nock ect and the deer usually continue to crunch on my handcorn.
