A. I figure if they are close, I'm going to disturb them when I get in the stand, whether I hand corn or not. Therefore I do, and I don't sweat it.

I carry my corn in a ziploc bag and throw it from a slight distance so I'm not actually standing in the spot they may be eating from. It also seems that a little bit of naturally scattered corn seems better than large piles or trails.
