    If it's a highly pressured place, piles of corn can alert the game. So, I scatter it well and keep it to a minimum.

          They want more grub than the spinner can sling, and i can place the piles where i like them behind clumps of grass or small trees

            I handcorn and am worried about disturbing the animals around my stand but I be sure to be extra quiet

                  Even if a feeder is present. Sometimes the deer will go for the hand thrown corn, which can be placed in a good strategic spot a little away from the feeder; i.e. good shooting angle, distance, etc.

                    I throw it after I get out of the stand from the first hunt. That way it doesn't matter if I spook something. Then I'm good to go next sit.
