I can't complain too much really - in almost 15 years of bow hunting this is the first time I've struck out two seasons in a row. My wife is more bummed than I am - she said "I think I've forgotten what venison tastes like!" (ouch!) Fortunately, I've been invited to Kerrvile to hunt Axis so that spot in my freezer won't neccesarily stay empty till next deer season.

i'm with you, my buck tags are simmering now, and in a couple weeks the doe tags will probably follow. still a good year, first year on this lease met some great guys (some are tbh'ers) looking foreward to maybe a diamond c run, and some predator hunting.
