What is wrong with this deer

Well we had a doe named "Chewin Tobacco" that we thought would get better with time but she didn't. She hasnt put on any weight since we first saw her and most of the other deer have. Today I asked who wanted to volunteer to lay her down and it took about 3 seconds for Wes my 9 year old to jump up. Shot her with a rifle at about 90 yards and she didn't take a step. I had to help a little becasue his hands are not strong enough for everything but he was to the cooler within 40 minutes. He said backstraps and cabbage tonight.

Anyone know what is wrong with this doe? The growths are not solid but very hard to the touch. Would she have recovered? She was able to raise a fawn so she did her job.

                        Video and cut!
She is just a cross between a chipmunk and a deer.

Seeing all the white/yellow goo ooze out of those cheeks still probably won't tell you what caused it.

But go ahead and fire up the video camera anyway!
