Another Buck Candy Question.

Been thinking about using Buck Candy during the off season but we have cattle on our place so the question would be, does Buck Candy also attract the cows?

Last year I made some magic dust from a recipe that I got on here and had cows jumping the cattle panels around my feeder to get at it.
Will BC have the same result?

And you know this from experience? I figure the sweet smell may draw them in but was looking for first hand experience.

I've had a protein feeder in a pen with cows in the same pasture for a long while. I put about 600# protein and about 48 ounces of BC in there. The cows are around the pen at times, but have not broke through. You can really smell the BC when walking up to the feed pen when the wind is blowing to you.

The pen is stout, btw...

Where do you buy bc and does it have any protien value?

I've been throwing a corn/Record rack golden nugget mix with BC added this season and have not had any cows enter either of my 3 strand barbed wire pens. The cows will devour hand toss w/BC but haven't gotten into the pens.
And yes you can smell the BC when downwind and especially when the feeder goes off.

You can order it from their site and by adding a cup for every 200# of feed your not using it for nutritional value. Just an attractant.
