2012... wheres my jet pack?

They promised us jetpacks...
Got up early, loaded up the kids to go down and find a local jetpack dealership to pick mine out.. and low and behold.. i couldnt find one!!!
wth?!!
well, i thought..it is new years day..maybe its their day off and they just haven't setup shop yet.. but surely the hover car store is open ...right?
NOPE! couldn't find it either..
Then it dawned on me... walmart... if anyone will have the 2012 hovercars and jetpacks.. it would be Walmart...and they are open!!!
We trucked on down to wallyworld..(supercenter) and walked all over that dang store... couldnt find any!! I asked a nice young lady wearing a Walmart Associate badge with her name label upside down, where in the store they were and she replied probably in household goods..
i looked at her funny, and wondered WHY THE HECK a jetpack would be in houehold goods..and made our way through the pack of hungover shoppers looking for the Alieve aisle...
When we got to the household goods section, the closest thing to a jet pack was really cool looking vaccuum cleaner.
I'm beginning to think I was lied to as a kid...There aint no jetpacks or hovercars....
Never could find the 3 course steak-and-potato-dinners-in-a-pill either..
Maybe next year...

HELLLLOOOOOOOO! Did you try Academy or Cabelas? Jetpacks sound like a outdoorsy type of thing. I myself am going to go book my trip to Mars . They should have twice daily flights starting ...TODAY! RIGHT?
