    Anyone Use Archery Software????

I have been reaserching the different programs out there but have not really found anyting I like. I have looked at On Target by Pinwheel, BowBuddy and Archers advantage.

Does anybody on here use anything like this?

      Archery Software

I use On Target 2. I have used Archer's Advantage and TAP (The Archery Program). All three are good programs. Everyone that uses them has their favorite.

Do you need a sight tape? if so, contact me and we'll trade info so I can make the tape on my computer. Dave 254-541-0942

I use archer's advantage, but have not even previewed the rest. AA updates theirs for free every year, except when they went to the windows version.

I'm sure all 3 are good. I get confused with AA sometimes though.

Just for clarification, what is the purpose of an Archery Program?

              On Target 2, AA, TAP

I use the program to find properly spined arrows for any given setup, print sight tapes, figure arrow trajectory, etc.

Go to On Target 2. There is a try before you buy offer.

I just wanted somthing I could put my set up info in and calculate trejectory, arow weight, KE, etc. Just for fun. I do not use sigh tapes. Just hought it would be cool to play with as long as it is not too confusing. I understand they also have a pal and windows hand held versiuon for scoring and shot placement for different animals. Just wanted to know what the best for the money is.

                      Sight tape

It's a product of any of the computer software programs...you feed the particulars of your setup into the program, it does the math and produces a "tape" or chart of sight marks...you can either use it to set your pins or attach it to the sight directly to shoot varied distances...with the right info, your tape will be dead on accurate out to 150 yards...it's mostly a target shooter's thing, but it's great for setting up a hunting bow with minimal work.
