I am leaving tomorrow afternoon for Childress to finish up my deer hunting season. My fiancé’s father, brother, and I have all taken bucks this season. Now we are planning on taking out some doe. My question is, “how many doe should we take?”

Pre-rut it was not uncommon to see 6,8,10 doe at a time. Since then only 2,3,4 at a time. We haven't been to our lease in about 3 weeks.Comment

depends on the carrying capacity of your land and your buck to doe ratio. If you don't know either, how many do you want to clean? 3 people in a weekend aren't going to make much different. Now if all on your lease or your neighbors have the same attitude it could impact it.Comment
