Reminds me of Dec.2,2006 I was in hurry climbing into a ladder stand with a bow in one hand, a rifle on my back and video camera and binos hanging on my neck,got to the top of the ladder missed the grab rail with my right hand fell straight backwards 15'. My head hit the scope causing a gash in the back of my head,slight concusion,screwed up my back.Went to the emergency room,no broken bones.X-rays an MRI ,5 stiches in the back of my head,bruised back,I could not even pull my pants up on my own for a week my back hurt so bad.Spent 10 days off of work,could have been alot worse,I consider myself very lucky to walk away from that.But that's what can and will happen to you when you get in a hurry. Hope your are OK and have a fast recovery,slow down a little bit,we don't heal as fast as we used to.
