Question about arrow length?

I bought my wife an Apprentice for Christmas. Her draw length is 26". The bow is equipped with a whisker biscuit. What arrow length should I be looking at? She is pulling about 40#.

I cut my arrows 1" longer than the end of my rest. Depends on where her rest sits on the bow. I shoot a 28.5" DL and cut my arrows to 27" because of where the rest is.

Just give you enough room past the rest for a broad head, and make sure it long enough for a beginners fingers are out of the way..
