I shot a whopper 10 point a few years back high up in the back just under the spine like that when he ducked my arrow. Exactly 1 week later he showed back up at the feeder eating corn again on the game camera and you could see exactly where I had shot him. He looked just fine.

Did u find blood? I'm curious because I did this last week I think
