Hey, yall can laugh if you want to but its true. The only reason anyone is wearing square toes today is because they were made popular by whomever sets such trends. If they wernt popular or "in fashion" boot makers would stop making them because people would stop buying them.

Like it or not, there is a lot of high dollar fashion conscious folks that roam the rodeo grounds. The first time I saw Cinch jeans and shirts was at the Houston Rodeo, Sparkly belts for men, same with Full Quill Ostrich boots back 10 years or so ago. 3 or 4 years ago there were tons of people wearing square toe boots there.
Within a year you couldnt hardly find a nice pair of round toe boots in the stores.

Drop your illusions guys.... you wear what you wear because of fashion. If not we would all be wearing bell bottom leisure suits now instead of Cinch jeans and square toe boots.

Only illusion here is your vision of fashion. Fashion is anything you will wear. Well duh, of course you're gonna wear what's in fashion because you set what's in fashion for you. I have square toed and round toed boots but the squared toe is much more comfortable.

I tried to do it last week and just couldn't, bought regular pair of Twisted X. Very comfortable boots. I'm old school sorry, maybe one day.

My wife bought me a pair of black full quill Boulets for our wedding. They aren't horrible, but I still prefer my round toe Tony Lamas. It is a HECK of a lot easier to hit the stirrup on a rowdy one with a little taper on the toe.

                          the haters will hate....

I threw out my last pair of round toes about 6 months ago...I am solely devoted to the Anderson Bean square toe now!

3 of these 4 pairs of boots were just resoled, 1 pair for the second time in about 8 or 9 years. Great boots!

There are a few "Old Cowboys out here that can't do it." Just don't look right IMO.
