To repliers, my heartfelt gratitude.

It is difficult to know what to pray for. I guess for lack
of knowing, I'm just praying for His will to be done and
please spare her pain and suffering.
And to please give our kids the strength to cope and
to go on.

I've given her my word - that though I cannot fill her shoes
as a parent, because her shoes are too big to be filled:
That they can, until I draw my last breath, lean on me.
For whatever their needs may be.

Sometimes a man just has to unload and I just did it out loud.
I expect readers will understand that little statement.

I've known a few that have gone way to early due to cancers deathly grip. They all seem to be the strongest I have ever known...
If we all could be so strong in the face of death, then we would all be better in the end.
