Shoe, I don't know how bad your shoulder is, but don't get discouraged if it takes longer than that. I had a badly damaged rotator cuff repaired on July 17, 2009. I went to PT 3times a week for 5 months and still had to work on it at home for another 4 or 5 months before I got back the strength I needed. I was 63 at the time, so that my be a factor.

Just do what they say, and it will eventually heal. The therapy hurts like you cannot imagine, but you just gotta keep doing it, no matter what. Been there, done that.

            Good Luck!

Pray all goes well. Looks like I may be in the same boat very soon. Got a shot three wks ago and it has done nothing to help. Doing everything I can to avoid surgery. Check back in with progress please. Good luck.

Even with therapy I would not count on being back to normal in 8 weeks. Stay with it though.
My best therapy was when I got to the point I could start shooting a light weight bow. Slowly worked up and can now shoot my regular bow. Have enjoyed this bowseason very much not being in pain.
                    Good luck.

Best of luck. Push the rehab and don't stop. Number one reason for not getting full range of motion back. Hope it works out for the best.
