Got me some more back straps this afternoon!

Got this spike at about 4:30 pm today. I was able to get close enough on foot for a shot because he was chasing a doe and fawn hard. I 'yelped' at him to get him to stop and put the smack down on him at about 125 yards with my Rem 700 CDL 300 Win Mag.
I've passed of few of these this year but haven't killed a deer since the second weekend of bow season. So it was time!

Good job on the SPIKE. He is big. I have been holding out for something big this year but not even seeing anything I want to shoot. I am thinking about taking out a curly cue spike that probably needs to come out of the gene pool. Got permission from the head Lady to go out this afternoon.
