12v adapter/connector for StealthCam?

Dad and I are tired of buying batterries for the game cams so I figured I would just build some external battery packs with solar panels and all. Does anyone know what size the connector is for these cameras? Are they a standard size? You think I could find them at RadioShack or somewhere like that?

Stealthcam has some pre-made wires for these cameras for like $10 each so if push come to shove I could just buy those. I just figured these little pieces couldn't be more than a couple bucks at a local electronics store.

I bought the pre made wire from stealth cam and used it. Instead of hooking up solar panels and batteries, I bought a $20 lawn mower battery from wal-mart, built a box for it and it would last all season.

No such critter as standard adapter. Best to bite the bullet and buy the $10 connector from the company. Go to Radio Shack and and ask for the adapters. Crazy selection.

Well I did a search on this subject and saw some people stating issues with the solar panle not being able to charge the battery but only maintaining it? Is this still an issue?

I was wanting to use some feeder batteries and solar panels. Will this not work?
