yes, probably come and gone now. We are between Rock springs and brackettville and it was full swing this week.

Thanks for the update..
Now that the rut is over is it best to sit at the feeder or spot and stalk?
based on this years results of the area?

They are starting to come back to the feeders at our place in Brackett. Older bucks should start showing in the next week or two.

I was down there this past weekend. Bucks were hitting feeders pretty hard. Saw a lot of 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 year old deer. Did see two younger bucks fighting and also saw a couple of bucks checking a yearling doe. Looked like the rut is just about over
