Banded redhead

I don't know if y'all remember but a while back I asked if anybody had any birds I could practice on. I had a few people respond. I had a member from this site give me a few birds. One of the birds he gave me was a redhead. When I pulled this bird out to skin I noticed it had a band. I thought why would this guy give me a bird with the band still on it? So I decided to send him an email and ask if he meant to leave the band on there?

His response was "No way its got a band, I didn't even check. It was the first duck my son has ever killed!"

So I mounted it up and I'm giving it back to him. I hope his son likes it.
