I have scoured real estate websites in Texas and have come to the conclusion that if you want any sizeable amount of land (for the money I have to spend) that you have to go way, way , way out west.
On the other hand I have looked at land in Arkansas and found that you get much more bang for your buck (check it out). Some areas in the norther part of the state even have an elk season. The down side is obvious with longer trips, more gas, time, out of state hunting licenses etc. I was wondering if anyone on this site owns land out of state and has regretted buying it. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
