    Dang Coons

Here's the spinner plate off one of my feeders that the coons have chewed to heck. Used to have 3 "ears" that stuck up on it--they're gone. Soon as the season closes (and maybe sooner), I'm going back to war with them.

Yep-it's aluminum. I'll move it to a feeder that will be mounted over a hog trap and inside a shroud so it doesn't have to throw far, just fall straight down into the trap.

                Elk,

I think you need a longer handle on that catcher! The look in that coon's face seems to be saying "I'm gonna $%*# this guy up when I get my paws on him"!!!!!

Great clip but......................................I'm still using my .22 hollowpoints 'cause ...............buzzards gotta eat too! lol

All you need is 3 links of 3in. PVC pipe cut about 24-30 in. And 3 links of chain about 12in each and 6 self taping screws. Place pvc on the legs of the feeder and Screw chain on the barel and the PVC on all 3 legs, coons will climb up legs to the PVC and it will turn and they will fall off.

looks like an On Time feeder plate. I have had them do that but I think the plates are just made poorly and they can't take the stress from the corn hitting them. If you watch them, they will start cracking by ears and will then just break off.

Squirrels are pretty good at chewing up spinner plates too.
