E.T. Archery Closing?

heard from a friend that they were closing the one in diana?!?!?!....anyone here anything about this?

No but I heard a rumor that the one in Tyler was closing after the end of the year from someone who had been in there and said the store was pretty much out of bows about a month ago

I went by the one in Tyler the other day and they were locked up. It was during business hours but I haven't been by to see since then.

Shame Tyler will not have an archery shop. Not sure about that city.

As far as Diana shutting down I hope not it's only 12 miles from me and has been one of the leading shops in East Texas for years.

Trying to make a living in an archery shop is tough, but in this economy its nearly impossible. Have thought of opening one many times and good sense has always prevailed . Hate to see the one in Tyler close....

I've have been going to shop in Diana for about 4 years. Love it & hate to see it close. But there is a new shop in hallsville called Bownanza that is relatively close. Have noh t been in there yet but some nearby help is better than nothing.

Ever since Kim and her husband sold Apache Archery, Tyler has been doomed with bow shops that haven't lasted...

Jeff and Kelsey are good friends of mine, the Tyler shop is closed, they havnt said anything about closing the Diana shop though.

I work/live in Tyler and was told that the Tyler store is closing but that all products were moved to the Diana store so it shouldn't be closing.

I don't think it will be long and someone will open another shop up in Tyler. And I don't think it has anything to do with Tyler as much as it does other variables. ie Gander and Academy both have archery depts, the location could have been better (not much going on out there and previous shop was there and some people did not like it), crappy economy, etc
