Academy Game Winner Big A Feeder - thoughts????

Are you saying you have two of the feeder on the right? The one with the stairs vs the on with the ladder?

Updated the link. Anyone know if Academy runs these on sale after season is over? I looked at one a few weeks ago, and it was very well made.

I have a couple of the Low Boys, same feeder I think as Big A's, just don't have to climb a ladder. As somebody mentioned, solar panel is a must, and put a different varmint cage on it.

As for sale price, usually after season they will go down.

Can anyone help me identify the manufacturer of the feeder with the protein attachment pictured in the conversation sting above. It is the one on the right. The conversation is about the Big A from academy but that is not a Big "A". They had one in the Academy near my house during hunting season but no one can remember who made it and now it is out of stock. Any clues on the forum? The forum wont let me post the image. So its the one on the right above this response.

Timer is one of the biggest POS in deer feeders. Go ahead and buy a THE Timer and replace it to start.

I have had one up in place for three years with no problems other than the timer only lasting a couple weeks.

I have the original timer and has been in the field for about 3 years.

Was a total pain to put together.

I bought it on clearance for around 1/2 price. Might have been more, can't remember.

No worries. I think you confused me more than anything.

I think the preferred method on the forum is to search topics and post to existing threads, so that's what I usually do.
