Because I shot the Z7, Z7 Mag, Z7X and liked them all but I am looking for something a little lighter than my S2. All of these are really great bows but not great enough to give up my current Mathews bow. Before the Helium cam out I was hoping for a lighter bow based on the Z design and here it is. I haven't shot one yet and will wait until the season is over and Christmas is behind us and then I will give it a try. For me weight is an issue.

Now here I have no opinion since I haven't shot them side by side. Sounds like it is about the same as the other Z's.

So you have never shot one but you have an answer and oppinion?

I have shot them all and Im going from the Extreme to the Heli but just because I do every year. Its not night and day difference but it is a better draw and the weight difference is awesome!!!

Lighter with some sacrifice but you must shoot it to see if how it works for YOU.

Helim is comparable to the Z7, same ata, same brace height, same speed. Not the Z7x which is shorter ata with a higher brace height and different speeds. Specs don't impress me so I don't care to shoot one.

The bow does not adjust down. You have to change cams to lower more than 10 lbs

Not true, changing cams changes draw length changing limbs change draw weight and yes the 70# bow will turn down to 48 # without changing anything.
