          The perp may be the Buzzard, but I may be wrong. If you see other birds in the immediate vicinity then you know the answer to your own question.

            Buzzard scat does not look like that because of their diet. It's likely sandhill.

                Herons and Egrets are also options.... Its just big bird poo... they take off.. they poo like that. EVERYTIME!!!! You definately dont want a big group of waterfowl to fly over you as they leave the pond... crap bombers!
