Herons and Egrets are also options.... Its just big bird poo... they take off.. they poo like that. EVERYTIME!!!! You definately dont want a big group of waterfowl to fly over you as they leave the pond... crap bombers!

I don't think it's buzzards, the pond is only 60yrds behind my house and I've never seen any. I do have a dark grey crane and a big white bird here everyday tho.
