Is the date on the pic correct? Nothing about him says 3.5 to me. I could maybe believe 4.5 though. When is the rut in your area?Comment

I agree with the 170+ gross. I would like to see a profile of the head too.
But, I give him 4.5, full / rounded hams, full and deep brisket. but, he does
not have the old gut for a 5.5 - 6.5.
If your in a controlled environment, let him walk a year or two. Here why....
If you do not get him, you will have a great chance at his offspring and they

Here is the profile shot taken just before the last. Not the bast, but that is the no flash curse.
The dates are correct, this was taken in southern OK, just north of the red river. As far as we can tell the rut went nocturnal over a month ago, but we are seeing some chasing going on now as well, so maybe we are getting a second hit some 28 days later.
He looks to have survived rifle season up there, so hopefully someone in our group will get him or he'll make it to next Oct.Comment
