Trying to talk myself out of the Leicas or Swarovski's. Anybody have a review on the Fusions or negatives about rangefinding binos?

I have a hunting buddy who bought a Leica bino/rangefinder combo and he paid a ton of money for it. Fogged his first trip out. I have no knowledge on Swarovski but believe it would be excellent. I too, don't want to spend that kind of money. I have heard the Fusion is hard to read especially in bright daylight. I looked at them in the big stores and would think they would be difficult as well to view. One friend who had a Leupold which always seemed to eat batteries at the wrong time. If you find the right one........please let us all know.Comment
